Connect Plymouth has introduced a new adapted electric assist cycle hub which is designed to make cycling accessible to everyone. It features a range of adapted e-cycles suitable for various needs, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the benefits of cycling.
The hub is located in the overflow car park at Coypool Park and Ride, Coypool Road, Plymouth, PL7 4TB and can be easily accessed by bus, cycle routes or car. The hub is equipped with modern facilities and offers a supportive environment for all riders.

What is an adapted e-cycle ICE trike?
The adapted e-cycle ICE trike is a stable, easy to use cycle ideal for riders who cannot or prefer not to ride a traditional bike.
These cycles are suitable to go on open roads and cycle trails and can suit a wide range of ride capabilities. They have supported seating, full suspension, and a low centre of gravity providing a comfortable and stable ride for riders of all ages. There is extra support to help you get in and out of the trike. You can choose your level of electric assist and the automatic gearing takes care of the gears for you for easy operation. Optional controls for riders who need left or right handed controls are available.
There is also an additional children's adapted cycle trike available to hire.
